David A. Hill

David A. Hill was born in Salem, Oregon and educated in the public school system there through high school. After high school, Mr. Hill enlisted in the US Navy where he spent three years of service, two upon the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga. After his service, Mr. Hill immediately attended the University of Oregon to obtain his college degree in political science. After graduation, he attended the University of Oregon School of Law, where he graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1979.

After passing the Oregon State Bar examination in 1979, he started his own law firm, with his early practice consisting of both court appointed and retained criminal defense cases, as well as a variety of civil cases. Mr. Hill’s primary areas of expertise include Drug Defense, Search and Seizure Law, Measure 11 Defense and DUII Defense.

Attorney David A. Hill has over 44 years of trial experience defending clients charged with serious criminal offenses within the state courts of Oregon.
